UPDATED – Dryden Police Search For Bank Robber




A male was arrested last night in connection with a Robbery at the Bank of Montreal that occurred in Dryden on March 12, 2018. There is a joint investigation currently underway between the Dryden Police Service and the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. Details will be made available as the investigation continues.

The Dryden Police Service is looking for this individual in relation to a robbery attempt at the Bank of Montreal today.

At 3:42 Monday March 12th, Dryden Police received a 911 call to the Bank of Montreal located on King Street after a male entered the Bank and demanded money while displaying a knife. The male fled the scene without obtaining any money and no one was physically hurt during this event.


Police are looking for a suspect described as:
– White male, approximately 6 feet tale, slim build
– Light coloured eyes, unblemished skin
– Wearing a black zippered weather resistant hooded jacket
– Light coloured jeans and grey and black work gloves with yellow trim
– Also wearing a black knitted balaclava pulled up to his nose

He was last seen on foot walking northbound on Whyte Avenue.
