Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Kenora man for Impaired Driving related offences.
On Friday, March 9, 2018, at approx. 9:30 a.m., police conducted a vehicle stop in the downtown area of the City of Kenora. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and he was arrested and transported for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 34 year old Jimmy SCOTT of Kenora has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Driving while Ability Impaired (Alcohol) contrary to section 253(1)(a)
Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)
Driving While Disqualified contrary to section 259(4)
The accused is to appear in Kenora Court on March 29, 2018 to answer to the charges.
