Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking to the public to assist in an investigation of motor vehicle collision.
On Saturday, March 24, 2018, shortly before 2:00 am, police were called to investigate a report that a male had been injured after being struck by a vehicle in Keewatin. It was determined that the male had been walking on Front Street in the area of the Keewatin Memorial Arena around 1:00 am. At some point, the male reports a sport utility vehicle (SUV) drove by him, striking him as it passed by, and continued on. The male was taken to hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
