On Monday March 26, 2018, shortly 1:30 p.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on the south shoulder on Highway 17.
Police attended and located a deceased male in the vehicle. A post mortem examination is to be conducted today by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) in Sudbury.
Assisting with the investigation are the OPP’s Scenes of Crimes Officer (SOCO) and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS).
The investigation is on-going and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
