DRUNK DRIVER WHO REAR-ENDS OTHER VEHICLE RECEIVES 1200$ FINE
A 56 year old TERRI MACDONALD appeared in courtroom 102 the morning of Monday March 26,2018 to face charges of impaired driving and operate over .080 before Judge Dino DiGiuseppe She’s wearing a stylish dark pant suit, has shoulder length brown hair with bangs in front and is represented by local lawyer Kevin Brothers.
MacDonald pleads GUILTY to operation over .080 and the impaired charge is withdrawn.
Admitted facts before the court are that November 14,2017 at 8pm, police were called to a collision at corner of Arthur & Highway 61. The vehicle MacDonald was driving rear ended another vehicle. Damage was minor and no injuries. MacDonald was belligerent with police and they noticed open vodka lemonade in the cup holder along with empty cans of vodka lemonade and beer in car. There was an open case of Molson Dry in back seat with 11 full cans in it.
She gave 2 breathalyzer readings. The first at 8:49pm was .156 and the second reading at 9:04pm was .171.
The court hears that she receives CPP and has a major depressive disorder.
She’s fined 1200$ and receives a 1 year license suspension. She has license with her and hands it to the court.
