NISHNAWBE ASKI POLICE SERVICE ARREST ALLEGED SEX OFFENDER TOMMY JAMES BOTTLE IN LAC SEUL FOR BREACH.
Appearing this morning, Saturday, March 31, 2018, via telephone from the SIOUX LOOKOUT OPP Station in Courtroom 104 is 44-year old TOMMY JAMES BOTTLE.
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. Her Worship, Zelda Kitchekeesik is presiding. Provincial Crown Andrew Sadler is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
BOTTLE was arrested last evening at the Lac Seul Indian Reserve 28 by the NAPS. Court hears he was arrested in January for alleged sexual offences on the reserve. He was released by the court on an undertaking. One of his conditions is to stay away from the Lac Seul Reserve even though he’s a band member.
Bottle was supposed to be staying in Kenora but allegedly made his way back to Lac Seul. Crown Attorney Sadler is opposed to his release.
Bottle will appear in Bail Court on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
