Appearing this Easter Monday morning, Monday, April 2, 2018, via video from the Thunder Bay Police Station on Balmoral in Courtroom 104 is 22-year old CHELSEA LYNN IBEY
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. Her Worship, Jennifer Neill is presiding. Provincial Crown Gordon Fillmore is here along with Duty Counsel Joy Wakefield and Arturo Acosta.
IBEY looks pretty rough on video. She was arrested last evening and tried to pull away from the TBPS officer during the execution of an arrest warrant. She’s got a new charge of resisting police.
She has 2 previous charges of failing to attend court on May 5/17 & Jan 9/18. She also has a breach of probation and a previous charge of damaging a vehicle in May 2016.
Court hears her lawyer is David Bruzzese.
The Crown is not consenting to her release. She’ll appear in bail court on Wednesday April 4,2018. She remains in custody until then.
It will probably take several days for the Communications Director at Thunder Bay Police to update on his website.
