Police Chief J.P. Levesque applied for an extensionΒ for the notice of hearing to the 3 officers, as the Office of the Independent Police Review Director directed, after their investigation on the investigation of the death of Stacy DeBungee.

OIPRD recommendations are that the officers face Police Act charges, such asΒ discredible conduct as well as neglect of duty for how the death of Stacy DeBungee was handled.

The reason for the hearing to be cancelled was a β€œprocedural matter”.
