Special weather statement in effect for:
Manitouwadge – Hornepayne
Potential winter storm expected Sunday afternoon into Monday.
Snow at times heavy will spread into Northeastern Ontario Sunday afternoon. Significant snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm are possible by Tuesday morning. In addition, strong northeasterly winds will produce areas of blowing snow, leading to reduced visibilities.
Southeastern areas may become mixed with ice pellets at times Sunday which may lead to reduced snowfall accumulations.
Snow and blowing snow will ease Monday night into Tuesday.
Warnings may be issued as the event draws closer.
