Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on April 17, 2018 at 4:45 p.m. at the Safeway located on Court Street.
The report indicated that two males attended the checkout area and caused a commotion. In the process one male grabbed the 47 year old female cashier and attempted to money out of the cash drawer.
She was able to get control of the till.
As the suspects were attempting to flee, a 54 year old female employee attempt to block their exit and was pushed.
The suspect fled on foot north bound on Court Street.
The first suspect is described as a tall Indigenous male.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male who is five feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing black glasses, black jacket and a black cap.
