The Dryden Ice Dogs were in Thunder Bay to play a game of hockey, but their coach caught a little more ice time than expected.

Sources have been informing TRCCTB about an alleged assault that took place after the game in a hallway altercation. Itโ€™s been said that a Thunder Bay North Stars hockey player took a swing at a Dryden Ice Dogs coach, clipping them in the face.

The violence erupted after Thunder Bay edged out a 2-1 victory over Dryden.

Police are investigating.
