This city is getting ridiculous. How did things get to this point?
I’m sure you’ve gotten a lot of posts lately on the problems in this city, but I think I have a truly unique one. Lately I have been waking up in the morning to a room full of sand. I mean that, truly, full of sand.
Not a truckload or anything, but a good amount of sand. I wake up and my pillow is covered in sand, my bed sheets are covered in sand, my DOG is covered in sand if he sleeps beside me for the night. Even my carpet has some sand in it now.
I was really wondering what the heck was going on, but after a couple night I have it figured out. I sleep downstairs, and I have a window a couple feet above where my bed lies. From the outside, the window is low to the ground and faces out from the front of the house. Because my room is so hot, and I cannot afford air conditioning,
I have had to keep my window open every night to let air circulate. There’s a screen protector on the window to keep out bugs, but some sly weasel has been taking advantage of that. For the past week, somebody has been sneaking into my front yard while I sleep and pouring sand through my window.
This is both a plea and a warning. Please, if the sand slinging rogue is reading this letter, STOP. I have to get up early in the morning for work and I already suffer from sleep apnea. I barely get enough sleep to survive as is, the LAST thing I need is some hooligan pouring sand onto me.
If that gets into my mouth while I snore it could cause serious problems. For the warning, if you live around Kenogami/Van Norman street, KEEP YOUR WINDOWS CLOSED. I don’t know who this vandal is, but if he is targeting me, there’s no saying if he would target any other open windows he sees. PLEASE, if anyone knows this ruffian, or sees him, GET HIM TO STOP.
