GORDON BLUECOAT GUARDED BY 2 TBPS OFFICERS IN HOSPITAL FACING MORE CHARGES
A 32 year old GORDON JOSEPH BLUECOAT appeared by telephone in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today, Saturday April 21,2018 from the Thunder Bay Hospital. Her Worship, Denette Maslach is presiding. Provincial Crown Emily Delaney is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
Court hears allegations that BLUECOAT was arrested by TBPS last evening in an intoxicated state and required hospitalization.
He sounds extremely hungover on the phone.
TBPS protocol is that 2 officers are required to stay with a person who’s been arrested until court. There will be 2 Correctional Officers who come to guard BLUECOAT now.
BLUECOAT is facing new charges. Justice Chantal Brochu gave him probation in December 2017 for several charges. He’s alleged to have never reported to probation. He’s also alleged to be breaching his new bail conditions by being intoxicated and not keeping the peace.
He was arrested and released on bail in March for contacting his female victim for which he received probation. An arrest warrant was issued after he failed to see his probation officer for over 3 months. He also has outstanding breach charges for curfew, bad behaviour and alcohol.
BLUECOAT is remanded to appear again in court on Monday April 23,2018 either from hospital or the jail.
