THEY BOTH WIN A FREE FLIGHT TO KENORA JAIL
A 29-year-old TERRY NELSON STRANG appeared by telephone in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today, Sunday, April 22, 2018 from the Poplar Hill Nishnawbe Aski Police Station. Her Worship, Denette Maslach is presiding. Provincial Crown Sheri Frenette is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
The court hears allegations that STRANG got into a vicious fight with 29-year-old BILLY MOOSE. He’s charged with assault causing bodily harm. Crown is not consenting to his release. He’ll be flown to Kenora Jail today and appear in Bail Court tomorrow.
Next up is 29-year old BILLY MOOSE. He’s facing charges of assault causing bodily harm on TERRY NELSON STRANG. He is also alleged to have resisted arrest by NAPS officer.
Moose informs the court that he can’t feel his nose. The NAPS officer informs Her Worship Maslach that MOOSE has been to the nursing station already. The Crown is not consenting to his release.
Her Worship informs MOOSE that he will be remanded into custody and flown to Kenora Jail today and appear in Kenora Bail Court tomorrow.
Moose asks the court “What about my job?”
Her Worship informs him “You might want to contact your employer and let them know”
