(KENORA, ON) – On April 24, 2018 at approximately 7:44 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Kenora received a call of a Robbery in progress at local business in the downtown core. Members of the OPP responded immediately and located the suspect nearby.
One male is in custody, and the investigation is continuing.
As a result of the investigation 22 year old Donovan PERREAULT of Kenora has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Theft under $5000 – Shoplifting contrary to Section 334(b)
Robbery with a Weapon contrary to Section 334(1)(b)
Three counts of Assault with a Weapon contrary to Section 267(a)
Fail to Comply with a Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1)
