A 38 year old ANGUS ABRAHAM JACOB appeared by telephone in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court on Saturday April 28,2018 from the NISHNAWBE ASKI Police Station at the Fort Hope Indian Reserve 64.

His Worship, Bruce Leaman is presiding. Provincial Crown Tiffany Boisvert is here along with Duty Counsel Joy Wakefield

Court hears that JACOB was arrested last evening for allegedly breaking a woman’s hand.

He’s charged with assault causing bodily harm. The Crown is not in a position to agree to his release. JACOB is being flown to Thunder Bay Jail and will appear in Bail Court via video on Monday April 30,2018 from the Thunder Bay Jail.

JACOB interrupts the phone call and asks “Is there any way I can get rid of this charge, if I make a deal with you guys ?”

His Worship Leaman informs Jacob that he is a Justice of the Peace and not a Judge.

JACOB is on a plane coming to Thunder Bay.
