COCAINE & STOLEN CAR LEAD TO ARREST
A 28-year-old MICHELLE KIMBERLY BOUCHARD appeared by video in Bail Court on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from the Thunder Bay Police Station.
Her Worship, Denette Maslach is presiding. Federal Crown Alec Hardiejowski & Provincial Crown Mary Ann Mackett are here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
BOUCHARD is rocking side to side and coughing a lot through the proceeding. Her long hair looks very messy and her white shirt keeps sliding off the one shoulder and she keeps pulling it up.
The court hears that Officer Marc Cattani spotted a stolen vehicle yesterday afternoon at 4:44 pm with 4 occupants in it. The officer found 45 grams of what’s alleged to be cocaine and some other opioids in the area of the car occupied by BOUCHARD. Also found were drug paraphernalia and a scale.
BOUCHARD has an outstanding impaired driving by drugs charge from July 3, 2017 for which she failed to appear for court on April 17, 2018. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
BOUCHARD has had 3 previous bench warrants for her arrest.
The Crown agrees to release her on 500$ no deposit bail. She must report to Thunder Bay Police every Wednesday between 8am – 4pm and must reside at a home in the 100 block of Blucher Ave. She’s also not allowed to operate a motor vehicle.
BOUCHARD is coughing/hacking heavily at this point but she agrees to follow those bail conditions.
