(THUNDER BAY, ON) – 2 grass fires moments apart from each other kept Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters busy in the north end this evening.
The first call for service came in shortly before 9:00 pm when multiple calls blasted 911 regarding flames ravaging the area on the black path behind the Landmark Inn.
Pumper 2 and the crew from Station 2 responded to the scene with lightning quick speed. Upon arrival, the firefighters made short work of the flames, extinguishing the scene. (Pictured Below)
Shortly after defeating the first bundle of flames, the Pumper 2 Crew almost made it back to Station 2 before getting called out to another grass fire near Light Court.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to discover 2 areas in close proximity to each other where the grass fire had decimated the environment. The situation was quickly put on ice as the Pumper 2 Crew sprang into action. (Pictured Below)
Thank you Thunder Bay Fire Rescue for your hard work and quick responses.
