  • possession of a firearm without a licence
  • unsafe storage of a firearm
  • failure to comply NO WEAPONS clause in bail conditions
  • possession of a firearm when prohibited.

The Crown is not consenting to his release on secondary & tertiary grounds because police are still investigating an alleged shooting.

Itโ€™s a reverse onus situation since he was on bail conditions already.

HICKS asks the court โ€œAm I not getting released today?โ€

Duty Counsel Desmoulin replies โ€œ You have to have a bail hearingโ€

HICKS responds โ€œI havenโ€™t been in trouble since 2005โ€

Crown Attorney Auclair tells him โ€œNo, thatโ€™s not rightโ€
