(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Travelling through the intersection of Oliver and Frankwood? You may experience some delays if you are going through around 5-6pm.
A 3 car collision rocked the intersection of Frankwood Ave and Oliver road around 4:50 pm. The incident involved 2 cars and an SUV, which saw some significant front end damage to all three vehicles.
No one was seriously injured according to first responders on the scene. Thunder Bay Police Service, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, and Superior North EMS responded to the situation.
The intersection has seen increased traffic since a section of Balmoral near George Burke Park has been under construction. Tow trucks were on scene shortly before 5:30 pm, clearing the area of wreckage.
One person was complaining of their head being sore, but no serious injuries were visible.
