List of confirmed existing local fire bans:
We will update this list, as the municipalities report the lift.

With the recent improvement in weather conditions, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue has lifted the City wide fire ban previously in place. All valid outdoor burning permits have been reinstated.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue reminds residents that any outdoor burning within the City of Thunder Bay requires a permit. Permits are valid for the calendar year in which they were purchased. Permit rules and regulations are strictly enforced and failure to obtain a permit or follow the permit rules will result in prosecution and fine.

Please remember to burn responsibly, and to always have a permit, where one is required.
