(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A north side area of town was rocked by an auto-cyclist collision that happened shortly after 4:00 pm.
The intersection of Park & Algoma South was interrupted due to a collision between a van and a pedal bike.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue’s pumper 2 and pumper 3 crews responded to the scene along with Superior North EMS; with Thunder Bay Police Service arriving shortly after.
A witness on the scene told us that the person on the bike was ok. The driver of the van was in the driver seat talking on the phone as we lurked the area for more information.
Please pay attention when you are at an intersection, whether you are a cyclist, motorist, or pedestrian. Safety is no accident.
