(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A late night collision has occurred during the midnight hour in the cities intercity area.
The intersection of Memorial and Isabel is the scene of a collision which occurred shortly after 12:30 am, and saw Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, Superior North EMS, and Thunder Bay Police Service personnel respond to the event.
A REAL Concerned Citizen that was near the scene told TRCCTB.COM that the collision didn’t look serious, but that at least one person seems to have been injured during the incident.
Weather may have played a factor, due to the rain, with short periods becoming intense. The TRCCTB.COM news van team had the wipers set to the highest speed setting and were still struggling to see through the window.
TRCCTB.COM would like to remind everyone to be extra patient during inclement weather and to drive according to conditions. Safety should always come before speed, slow down and take your time getting to your destination.
