(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Many REAL Concerned Citizens have been concerned as to whether current mayor Keith Hobbs will throw his name on the ballot for the fall municipal election, in an attempt to retain his seat.
Hobbs has expressed the possibility of running for mayor again, but as indicated from a local radio station, that it depends on the outcome of a pending court case.
Hobbs is accused of extortion regarding allegations surrounding local lawyer Sandy Zaitzeff needing to buy a house for someone in exchange of Hobbs not exposing Zaitzeff’s criminal conduct.
Hobbs has admitted even if he did run for mayor, he doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning.
