(THUNDER BAY, ONT)- As reported on TRCCTB Saturday morning….. Athe TBPS responded to call for service at a residence in the 100 block of Ruttan Street just before noon on June 15, 2018.
The responding patrol officers observed a handgun, suspected drugs and cash in the residence. An immediate search of the residence resulted in the arrest of two males. The residence was secured awaiting a search warrant to seize the items located within the residence.
Members of the TBPS Intelligence Unit executed the search warrant on the residence at 8:30 p.m. on June 15, 2018. A large quantity of Oxycodone pills, Hydromorph pills, Marihuana and Cocaine were located along with a large sum of Canadian Currency and handguns with ammunition.
Kalid Yousef, 26 years old of Edmonton, Alberta and Adrian Myles Puentes-Reed, 25 years old of Hamilton, Ontario have each been charges with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4
- Careless Storage of a Firearm x4
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x4
- Possession a Prohibited Weapon
Both appeared in court over the weekend and have been remanded into custody.
This investigation is ongoing.
