(GREENSTONE, ONT) – Friday left some people waking up Saturday with a hangover, some with the McDonald’s squirts, and some people woke up with a mild concussion and memories of hitting the ditch the day before.
On Highway 11 near Camp 25 road, a transport left the highway and was laying on its side in the ditch. This was reported to have happened either Friday or very early Saturday.
Highway traffic was blocked for over 90 minutes while crews attempted to upright the tractor trailer.
Massive trucks were brought in with their booms up and pulling on the unit, attempting to recover it from the ditch.
The transport was having a nap in the ditch on the westbound lane, but it’s time to wake up guy. He should be out by now.
We have no word yet on if any serious injuries had occurred due to this incident. More photos below
