(THUNDER BAY, ON) – July 1st of this year ended up being quite wet, with rain falling throughout the day, often coming down fairly hard. This rain did eventually ease up and come to an end, but not before the Marina Park fireworks show got cancelled.
We all know the Marina Park fireworks show has been rescheduled to a “reasonable” next date of Wednesday, August 29th, 2018…. But the good folks over at Castlegreen Housing Co-operative rescheduled their fireworks show to July 2nd, 2018.
The event saw some of the streets in the Castlegreen neighbourhood nearest to the fireworks lined with vehicles and families along the sidewalks, all looking to the sky, watching the very nice display of snap, crackle and pops going off in a rage of different colours.
The crowds were very well behaved and respectful of each other, and the community. There was no foul language heard, no visible liquor drinking, no smell of booze, and no trouble makers in general.
TRCCTB.COM did record the last couple minutes of the roughly 10-minute display, as during the first half of the display I was just enjoying the moment with my family.
Without further delay, below we present to you, the last couple minutes of the fireworks show, for those who may not have made it, or those who would like to take another look.
