(KENORA, ON) – Louie Napish, Treaty Three Police Service has been issued a notice that he is suspended with pay, according to a release on Friday.
July 17, 2018, is when Napish’s suspension begun and will continue until the Treaty Three Police Services Board has had enough time to review the matter.
In the release, it stated that due to the nature of the issues, the meeting of the full board will be in camera. The full Board will meet on July 24th.
The Deputy Chief of Police Jeff Skye will be holding things together as Acting Chief for the time being.
Terry McCaffrey, an ex-Treaty Three Police Service Detachment Commander, left the force to take on the role of Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service’s Chief of Police.
