TWO COLLISIONS INVOLVING BIKES

(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ On July 20, 2018, at approximately 7:31pm, an officer from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle on Lakeshore Drive in the Municipality of Shuniah.

The driver of a vehicle was east bound on Lakeshore Drive when the driver was attempting to make a right turn onto Ishkibbible Beach Road and collided with a cyclist. The cyclist sustained minor injuries.

A 21 year old male from Murillo was charged with Turn Not in Safety contrary to section 142(1) of the Highway Traffic ACT.

COLLISION INVOLVING DIRT BIKE

On July 21, 2018, at approximately 10:35am, an officer from Thunder Bay OPP responded to a report of a collision involving a dirt bike on Auto Road in Ware Township.

A group of friends were riding their Off Road Vehicles (dirt bikes) on private property when a male lost control of his dirt bike.

A 13 year old male was transported to hospital by air ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

    1. honestly it will make no difference, you really think people dont smoke weed now?
      your a fool to think that, id say atleast 90% of people i meet smoke weed nowadays.
      i always laugh when i see people say stupid stuff like that… its going to make no difference at all weed is more easilly accesible than ciggerettes right now as it is….
