It was also alleged he smashed a large picture window and a mailbox in the 500 block of Simpson Street, as well as throwing a large garbage can into the side of a Pruden street address, causing a hole in the siding.

French was also witnesses throwing around plants and kicking garbage cans. He was soon located in a back alley by Thunder Bay Police Service officers.

When police located the male, they observed French in possession of a 12-inch knife with a 6-inch handle. He was waving it around, yelling obscenities and chasing a vehicle.

The crown mentions that Frenchโ€™s record is dated, and only brings up a previous assault, and a breach of probation. His most recent conviction being in 2015.

The crown suggests releasing French on his own recognizance, without depositย under the following conditions:

  • No drugs or alcohol consumption/possession
  • Reside at home
  • No weapons / ammunitionย / explosive substances
  • No contact with 2 people
  • Do not attend several addresses

Duty counsel, which is representing French today, indicates that French has noted that he is willing and capable to abide by these conditions.

  1. He spent 3 years in Stoney mountain, was busted in Kenora last spring for drugs, and had a warrant for breach of bail last summer and the crown requested and agreed to bail?!??!?!?

    1. Well, in my opinion, he has been doing well up until now so that helps the crownโ€™s decision. People make mistakes, and in actual fact, Chris is a good guy with a huge heart until you piss him off. Just like a lot of people out there.

  2. And as for you bringing up his drug charges and his breach charge/warrant… He beat every one of those. And who are you to bring his past. Chris has paid his debt society for what he has done. So maybe you should get the actual facts, and tell the whole story (if you know it) before saying/posting things on line for the whole world to see, rather than posting bullshit and lies!!!
