(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Thunder Bay Police Services Board is asking for public input regarding the selection of a new police chief for Thunder Bay.
“The Board understands how important it is to find the right Chief both for the Service and the community. As a Board we appreciate that the appointment of a Chief of Police is perhaps the most important decision we are called upon to make. In making this decision, we encourage members of the community to provide their input into this critical appointment.” Was stated on the new website setup to gather the public’s input.
“In order to ensure that there is widespread input, the Board has launched a confidential survey that is open to all members of the community,” said Jackie Dojack, Chair of the Board.
“The Board knows that in order to secure the best person for the job of Chief of Police, it is critical that we understand the views and thoughts of all who are served by the Thunder Bay Police Service.” Dojack said.
