(KENORA, ON) -Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and Northwest Region Canine Unit are currently searching for a female who escaped custody.
At approximately 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018, police were notified of a female that escaped a youth custody facility in the north side of Kenora.
The OPP were advised that the youth had left the facility and fled by foot.
The female is described as 5’5, indigenous, slim build, long dark brown hair, last observed wearing a bright yellow t-shirt and pink plaid pajama pants.
