(DRYDEN, ON) – Shawn Clarence STEELE, 22 years old of Winnipeg Manitoba has been charged with Failing to Stop at the Scene of an Accident under the Criminal Code after leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on August 15, 2018 near the intersection of Grand Trunk and First Street.
Witnesses say they observed a 2003 grey Infinity Sedan travelling east bound in the centre turn lane when it collided with a vehicle turning left onto First Street trying to avoid the collision.
STEELE was released on a Recognizance and will appear in Dryden court on September 18, 2018.
Although property damage was extensive, no injuries were reported.
