Today, Premier Doug Ford and Minister of Transportation John Yakabuski announced that Ontario is freezing a number of driver fees that were set to increase on September 1, 2018.

โ€œPeople are fed up with paying more and more every time they need to renew their licence or take a driving test,โ€ said Premier Ford. โ€œThis will make life more affordable for drivers right across the province. This is the latest example of our government putting money back where it belongs โ€” in the pockets of hard-working Ontarians.โ€

The following fees are being frozen to directly benefit Ontario drivers and businesses:

  • Road and knowledge tests for all driverโ€™s licence classes.
  • Fees to get and renew driverโ€™s licences

This decision is part of the Ford governmentโ€™s commitment to putting people first.

    1. You’re right, it isn’t much of a savings… however if the rates went up $7 then people would be posting all sorts of whining.

Doug Ford is dismantling the Liberal mess one day at a time. I love it! Hes doing an excellent job.
