The fair is located in the heart of the Hymers Village, only a 30 minute drive from Thunder Bay. The event begins today at 9am to 6pm to tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and $5 for children 6-12 years old. Children get in for only $1 if they bring a zucchini or sunflower which could be entered into a contest.

The Hymers Fair began September 12, 1912 and has carried its same vision throughout the last hundred years – promoting our local farmers.

Throughout the weekend the fair hosts contests on best live stock, best agriculture and so much more. Along with great entertainment and many local vendors.

  1. This is a wonderful fair we always go both days as there is so much to see but I must say the music has not been as good the last couple of yeas. the fair needs to go back to the talent of the locals The Campbell Family, Eldon Kangus, Harold Zweep, Waylon Melanson and many more. There is a lot of local talent and its nice to see them at the fair because that’s the only time some us et to hear them, Thanks again for a wonderful time at the fair and thanks for keeping it a old time fair.
