(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Appearing in courtroom 104 this morning of the Thunder Bay Courthouse via video from the Thunder Bay Police Service Station is 35-year-old Glen Camara.
His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio is presiding, along with Crown Attorney Trevor Jukes, and duty counsel lawyer Lianne Roberge.
Glen appears very bald, the light from the room is glistening off his face and into the camera so brightly, that I cannot make out his face.
Camara is charged with the following 2 charges:
- Break & enter to commit an indictable offence (theft) (600 block of Harold Street North)
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle (drugs)
The Crown states that this is a Crown onus situation and that they are willing to release him but only with a proper surety.
Duty counsel indicates that Camara’s parents will be contacted to possibly be his surety, but that needs time to occur and request the matter remanded to tomorrow, Monday September 10th, 2018.
His Worship, Justice of the Peace Donio remands Camara into custody for his court appearance tomorrow.
Camara is brought back into his cell to await prisoner transport to the Thunder Bay District Jail, where he will spend the night before appearing in courtroom 104 via video on the 12:45pm list.
