(THUNDER BAY, ON) -The Thunder Bay & District Humane Society has put out a public service announcement alerting the public to a scam going around.
The Thunder Bay & District Humane Society says they have been made aware of a female that has been knocking door to door asking for donations, pretending to be gathering for the Spay & Neuter clinic over the last few days.
The TB&DHS wants the public to know that they have not authorized anyone to go door to door, and to call the police immediately on their non emergency line if you are asked for donations.
The woman was described to be between her 20’s to early 30’s, long dyed blonde hair, and riding a bicycle.
She has been reported canvasing the Westfort area.
If you encounter the woman, please call the Thunder Bay Police Non Emergency Line at 684-1200 as a report has been made and are seeking more information.
