(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Yesterday’s manhunt has landed 22-year-old Logan Lunn, Alejandro Inestia-Sanchez in bail court this morning.

His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio is presiding, along with Crown Attorney Sarah Munch, and defence lawyer David Bruzzese.

Lunn(Pictured above) is charged with the following:

  • Point a firearm
  • Robbery with a handgun
  • Disguise with intent
  • Assault while carrying a handgun
  • Evade Police (fail to stop)

His Co-Accused 20-year-old Alejandro Inestia-Sanchez, who has a heavy spanish accent, has been charhed with

  • Robbery with violence
  • Disguise with intent
  • Attempt to evade police (fail to stop fornpolice)
  • Possession

The Federal Crown and Provincial Crown have unanimously agreed not to consent to either mans release, citing secondary and primary grounds.

Sanchez is not a legal citizen of Canada, which is cause for primary grounds concerns. The Crown indicates they are concerned this man will be a flight risk.

Both are remanded into custody pending a future court date.

OPP tell us that two suspects remain on the run.

On September 26, 2018, at approximately 2:43 a.m., officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a robbery that occurred at a residence on Lakeshore Drive in the Municipality of Shuniah.

It was reported that assailants left the residence in a dark coloured sedan. The vehicle was located by police on Oliver Road and a Spike Belt Tire Deflation Device was utilized to bring the vehicle to a stop.

One male was located and arrested at the scene, and officers continue to search for people that fled from the vehicle.

Officers from the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit and Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the scene. The OPP Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has also been utilized at the scene.
