(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Three males from the Toronto area have been arrested near the Thunder Bay Airport yesterday by Thunder Bay Police, in a joint effort with the Ontario Provincial Police.

City police say they observed the black SUV leaving a home in the 300 block of South Syndicate Avenue with four suspects inside.

The vehicle was pulled over on Princess Street around 2:00 pm, where police arrested all four, including a female driver. The vehicle had license plates from Wisconsin. About $15,000 cash was located on two of the suspects.

Police later released the driver without conditions.

21-year-old Matthew Pickering is facing a charge of:

  • Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000

Pickering was released, on a $500 no deposit recognizance, his bail conditions are:

  • Remain outside the district of Thunder Bay, unless for court or lawyer appointments
  • Reside at his residence in the 300 block of Riverdale Avenue, Toronto
  • Not contact or communicate with Mills or Jackson, his co-accused
  • Not possess any substances banned under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, unless with a medical prescription

27-year-old O’Neill Mills is facing charges of:

  • Breaching bail conditions (recog) (not to leave the Toronto area)
  • Breaching bail conditions – not to have more than one cell phone, and to have that number approved by police.
  • Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000

Mills has outstanding charges surrounding drug trafficking. He also tells the court he has been living in Thunder Bay for quite some time now. He has also been released on a $500 no deposit recognizance,his conditoins are:

  • Reside at his residence in the 300 block of South Syndicate Ave
  • Report any change of address to police within 48 hours
  • Remain in the district of Thunder Bay
  • Deposit passport with the Thunder Bay Police Service
  • Do not apply for a new passport
  • Not possess any substances banned under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, unless with a medical prescription
  • Not to possess any firearms
  • Do not contact or communicate with Pickering or Jackson, his co-accused

22-year-old Andre Jackson is facing the following charge:

  • Breaching bail conditions (recognizance) (reside in the 100 block of Spadina Avenue in Brampton, Ontario)

Jackson was also released on a $500 no deposit recognizance, his bail conditions are:

  • Remain outside of the district of Thunder Bay, unless for court or lawyer appointments
  • Reside in the 3100 block of Weston Road in Brampton, Ontario
  • Notify police within 48 hours of any change of address
  • Not contact or communicate with Mills or Pickering, his co-accused
  • Deposit passport with the RCMP in Brampton
  • Do not apply for a new passport
  • Not to possess any substances banned under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, unless with a medical prescription

All three men have a future court date of November 6th, 2018 in courtroom 105.
