(TORONTO, ON) – The Toronto Police Service tells us that they have made an arrest after a video went viral of a man kicking a woman.
The incident occurred on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 at about 2:30 pm when TPS officers responded to a call for service regarding an assault in the area of Bloor Street West and Keele Street.
The allegations are that a group of people were out protesting abortions when a man approached the group while wielding markers. The man began scribbling on the group’s signs and clothing.
It was around this point that one of the female protesters had confronted the unruly male. (Video near the end of this article) The male then kicked the woman in the shoulder, knocking her phone from her hand.
As the woman appeared stunned, the male then tore a ribbon off of the female protester and proceeded to flee the scene.
