  1. Why am I not surprised!!!!!!
Not that it would be OK for a 14 year old to do this crap, but that’s the age you would expect for someone to do this. You know, the immature loser type with no job. But a 27 year old? Wow, Dude. Your future looks promising.
Oh well, sit back and wait for your slap on the wrist and get back out there and continue being an upstanding citizen in society collecting your Government pay cheque.
If I ever saw one of you loser types doing this, the authorities would wonder how you crawled out of the grave after I was finished with you.

  2. His punishment should be to either pay for all repairs, or to do the repairs during the day and return to jail in the evenings until the job is complete. Also he should be made to write an apology letter to all the effected families for his actions.

  3. Should never be allowed out of jail until restitution is arranged or served time equivalent to damages..oh the poor kid…being a looser is hard these days…..boo frikkkken who

  4. This has been going on in Fort Frances for years. I cannot even begin to recall the number of times this has happened in Fort Frances. The damage emotionally to the families and the financial cost for the repairs, is just the tip of the iceberg. What Veikko says about is absolutely true. Something has to be done. These people should be punished and thrown in jail along with a hefty fine. They have no morals or respect for the dead or their families. I am abhorred by the disrespect that is shown to the families and the people laying in those graves.

  5. Its truly sad for those of us who had to loose someone. And take the time and money to have a perfect stone made. Ours at another resting place diappeared completely. That was 10 yrs ago we have yet had the money to pay to replace it. Respect other people’s property. I wouldn’t of let her out of jail! Make her pay for all those stones!Government should take so much out of every cheque til its paid for! And yes get a job keep yourself from destroying others lives!

  6. yeah it’s a chick. She wasn’t alone. Hopefully they will find the other one or two who did this. No excuse for this at all!!! Some sick SOB’s around here.

  7. Whether they are adults or minors, if convicted, each of them should get jail time. The financial cost of the damage they caused is one thing. but the emotional and spiritual damage to the loved ones whose headstones were damaged or destroyed is far greater, This was a senseless act and for what? A cheap laugh? It is time for the courts to send a clear and strong message to those that did this. This is abhorrent and causes pain to the families and to the community. I hope that the families will know that their families, friends and community care about what has happened, We want to see justice done but their wellbeing is foremost in our hearts and minds. We are so sorry.

  8. None of you can cast the first stone people like these may be teased’ abused by society and in their own minds think its one way to pay back the abuse that they indure.. There is always the “ill get even”
How many of you see their cry for help
Throw the book at them is what you think and that will create a bigger injustice but at least you do not have to deal with your righteous virtues
Its very sad that the deed was done but even sadder if you knew these people or persons and did nothing to make them a contributing member of society
    My 2 bits 🍺😎

    1. Isn’t it up to each person to make themselves a contributing member of society?? How do we “make” another person a contributing member?
These are ADULTS. Not even young adults, but older adults: a cry for help? Please. It’s thuggery, and being brought up with zero respect for elders or the deceased or anyone else’s family.

    2. Like “Bubba” said above, these are the actions of a wannabe thug 14 yr old, not a young adult.
If we want to consider mental issues , then this girl needs help.
If we want to consider societal issues, then we have a failing of parents/culture/educational system.
At 27, if a simple slap on the wrist is given and put back on the street then I would expect a path into the future of zero chance of being a contributing member of society.

  9. Frankie, please do not justify crimes against people by adults that should know better. This was a crime against people and not property. Many families are grieving again. By you giving an excuse or a β€œway out” only minimizes the crime and justifies the deed by the perpetrators. There are others out there that still need to be rounded up. Hopefully the courts will actually do something this time and realize that doing nothing isn’t helping our society.
