(IGNACE, ON) – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for shooting and abandoning a calf moose.
On October 17, 2018, conservation officers were made aware of a dead calf moose that had been located by a member of the public.
Officers attended the location about 400 metres south of Silver Dollar on Highway 599, north of Ignace, and determined that the moose had been shot and abandoned.
