(THUNDER BAY, ON) – For the second time this week, a notorious south side building has had a lasting police presence.
A witness tells us that an ambulance was rushed to the building sometime between 3:30 am and 4 am this morning, followed by police shortly after.
People say they believe it to be another fatal overdose, but can’t be certain at this time.
Police have been holding the scene, and are tight-lipped about what happened.
“Purple Heroin” as it’s called, is being sold around Thunder Bay and the region. This drug is actually a mix of fentanyl and carfentanil. It may have actual heroin in it as well, but most times it is just fentanyl and carfentanil.
Purple fentanyl is not only purple but can be brown or white as well. Below are some photos we obtained, we apologize for how blurry they are.
Don’t do these drugs. Talk to your pharmacist about Naloxone and how to obtain a free kit.
