(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A busy south side street is the scene of a two-vehicle collision.
The incident happened this afternoon and had Thunder Bay Police Service, Superior North EMS and Thunder Bay Fire Rescue respond to the scene.
Two vehicles were involved, a black GMC pickup truck, and a black compact SUV/car type vehicle, the make of which is unknown at this time.
The incident unfolded on Arthur Street West, near Euclid Ave and has reduced traffic flow.
We have not confirmed if any serious injuries were sustained at this point, but we speculate nothing life-threatening should arise from this collision.
We have been told that the SUV had pulled out of Wasabi/Ozone and slammed into the side of the truck. The truck was east bound in the curb lane when this happened.
Emergency crews are on scene handling traffic and the situation, please avoid the area if at all possible.
Drive safely and cautiously Thunder Bay.
An earlier version of this post had a witness statement that said they believed the truck turned into the SUV. We have dug up and confirmed what actually happened above.
