  • Careless use of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Numerous breaches of bail conditions

The Crown points out that St. Pierre(pictured above) is in a reverse onus situation due to his outstanding charges and his breach of bail conditions. A reverse onus situation means that St. Pierre will have to show the courts as to why he should be released from jail.

St. Pierre’s release is being denied by the Crown today.

It is also brought to light that St. Pierre has outstanding warrants in Winnipeg.

The Crown requests that St Pierre not have any contact with 2 people, one being Sherri Jolicoeur, as one of his charges is an assault on her.

Duty counsel requests that St. Pierre’s matter be put into a Fort Frances bail court on Monday at 1:00 pm.

Sherri Jolicoeur’s criminal charges from the same incident are as follows:

  • Possession of stolen property under $5000 (electronics)

Jolicoeur already has the following criminal charges working their way through court:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime

The Crown tells the court that this is a reverse onus situation by the virtue of the previous charges in which she was already released on. Jolicoeur’s release is being opposed by the Crown.

Jolicoeur’sΒ criminal record is showing numerous property related convictions.

There are secondary ground concerns regarding the release of Jolicoeur states the Crown. She is also requesting a no-contact order with 2 people, 1 being Randy St. Pierre.

Duty counsel requests that the matter be put over to a Fort Frances bail court on Monday, November 19th, 2018.

Jolicoeur and St. Pierre will be held in custody until at least Monday when they will have a crack at being released.

  1. It’s one thing to have an addiction and we are supposed to be understanding. But when that addiction turns into you being a thief and breaking into homes I have no sympathy. What a disgrace you are to your family and your children.
