(LONGLAC, ON) – We reported on an incident that took place earlier this week in Longlac that saw one person placed in the intensive care unit of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
The victim was flown to Thunder Bay after receiving life-threatening injuries.
New charges for 35-year-old Adam Byron Patabon(pictured) are:
- Assault with a weapon (knife)
- Aggravated assault
It is alleged that Christopher Armstrong was stabbed by Patabon.
Defence lawyer Poirier left instructions to have the matter remanded until tomorrow to be spoken to.
Adam PATABON, 35-years-old, of Geraldton, Ontario
- Assault with a weapon contrary to section 267(a)
Christoper ARMSTRONG, 43-years-old, of Sudbury, Ontario
- Assault with a weapon contrary to section 267(a);
- Break and Enter a dwelling contrary to section 348(1)(a) and with
- Forcible Entry contrary to section 72(1).
Jonathon BOUCHARD, 39-years-old, of Long Lake 58, First Nation
- Fail to comply with recognizance contrary to section 145(3).
Our news compound has been bombarded with tips regarding an incident where multiple stabbings have occurred.
Information we received indicates that at least one person was stabbed and at least one person is in critical condition and has been flown to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Sources indicate that a male had beaten multiple people with a bat and then was attacked by one of them with a knife which sliced his face.
At least one person is said to need a skin graft due to the extent of their injuries.
One male is reportedly on life support, fighting to cling onto their life after having 5-6 slashes made on his face and two stab wounds to the chest.
