(MARATHON, ON) – A 32-year-old Malcolm Sylvester Bubar appeared in a Thunder Bay bail court this morning via video from the Ontario Provincial Police detachment Marathon.
Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Anna Gibbons was presiding along with Federal Crown Attorney Ron Poirier, Provincial Crown Attorney Gordon Fillmore and a duty counsel representative.
Bubar was arrested and charged with the following three new charges:
- Fail to comply with bail conditions x3
Bubar already has a criminal court case working its way through the justice system. Those charges are as follows:
- Trafficking in a substance x2
- Possession of proceeds of crime
Bubar was denied bail today. He will be transported to the Thunder Bay District Jail to await his Monday court date.
