TWO DRYDEN BREAK & ENTERS, ONE ARREST

(DRYDEN, ON) – OneΒ man was in custody following a residential break and enter, police are still seeking a second suspect.

On November 22nd, 2018, at approximately 10:00 pm, the Dryden Police Service received a complaint of a suspicious person looking into homes and attempting to gain entry to a residential garage.

The Dryden Police Service apprehended a 35-year-old Jared Ryan Harper (pictured), of Dryden, Ontario.

Harper has been charged with:

  • Break and Enter
  • Resist Peace Officer
  • Trespass at Night
  • Breach of Probation x 2.

Harper attended a Sioux Lookout bail court on Friday, we have not received word if he was granted a release.

On November 20th, 2018, a break and enter to a commercial storage shed in the 100 block of Colonization Avenue was reported to the Dryden Police Service.

The culprit(s) gained entry by breaking locks and making off with a STIHL Weed Eater.

Police report that no suspects have been arrested for this break and enter as of Friday.
