(DRYDEN, ON) – On November 27, 2018 at approximately 1:45 p.m. members of the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop for Highway Traffic Act offences on Highway 17, Eton Township (West of Dryden).

As a result of the stop, police seized 2 boxes of ammunition and a large quantity of drugs with a street value estimated at $50,000.00.


Police have charged 25-year-old Clifford Gay-Pierre, of Montreal, QC with the following offences:

  1. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to Section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
  2. Trafficking in a Schedule I substance – Cocaine contrary to Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
  3. Possession of over 30 grams of dried cannabis in a public place contrary to Section 8(1) (a) of the Cannabis Act.
  4. Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to a Prohibition Order contrary to Section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code.

The accused appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice onΒ November 28, 2018.
