(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A massive flood has taken over Isabel Street beside Intercity Mall late this afternoon. Numerous tips have come into our tip line, advising us of the flooding.
Isabel Street, which was the location of two motor vehicle collisions earlier today is now the scene of a massive flooding. City officials say that the water is due to a broken water main on private property. They say they are going to be shutting down the water supply to that property to end the chaos.
The water started leaking and within ten minutes had taken over the area. The massive water leak is between Memorial Ave and Fort William Road, on Isabel and in front of Lowe’s.
Traffic in the area is backed up, and residents are asked to use alternative routes until the situation can be remedied.
Anyone with additional photos of the situation are asked to email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
